Truecaller Appoints Vikas Khanna as Senior Director of Ad Sales for India 

Truecaller the well known communication platform for caller ID and spam blocking has appointed Vikas Khanna as its new Senior Director of Ad Sales for Truecaller India. 

In his new role Khanna will lead Truecaller’s direct advertising sales across India. He will focus on building stronger relationships with advertisers and expanding the company’s advertising business in one of its most important markets. 

Khanna brings more than 25 years of experience across print television and digital media. Over the years he has held senior leadership roles at several leading media and technology companies including Jio Hotstar Star Sports ITV Network TikTok NewsX TV18 NDTV Network Times of India and India Today Group. 

Commenting on the appointment Hemant Arora Vice President of Global Ads Business at Truecaller said the move shows the company’s strong focus on building direct relationships with brands. He added that Truecaller aims to grow its advertising business using a data first and AI powered approach. Arora also highlighted India as a key market and praised Khanna’s deep industry knowledge and leadership style. 

Sharing his thoughts Khanna said he is excited to join Truecaller at a time when trust and measurable results are becoming more important in advertising. He added that Truecaller’s high daily user engagement offers brands a powerful way to connect with audiences while delivering clear value. 

This leadership appointment comes as Truecaller continues to strengthen advertising as a major revenue stream while adapting to changes in the digital advertising landscape.
